Plush Pleasures: The Art of Spasmodica Exhibit

Spasmodica gleefully participated in its first solo exhibit this past October 2004 at the Rotofugi Toy Store & Art Gallery in Chicago. The show consisted of virtually all of the known Spasmodica creatures ever made, including our first prototypes (Clawra and Winger) and varieties no longer in production (Gertie, Windy in orange, and Windy in turquoise).

The collection also introduced a few new characters, such as Yugison and LouSid, as well as a curious collaboration between Rotofugi + Spasmodica, Nastasiya. Variations of the more popular dolls were also featured in larger sizes and produced from different kinds of materials, such as the Heavy Edition George in red with white polka dots or the Special Edition Brock in fall plaid (both standing tall at twice their normal size).

Thanks to everyone who attended the show and to our gracious hosts, Rotofugi.

New Merchandise for November 2004

Finally, new merch has been added! Two things make an outfit -- socks and buttons. While we haven't ventured into socks territory yet, we can now stick it to you good. Wear 'em proudly -- the new Spasmodica button packs are here. And don't forget about the newest dolls -- Yugison, LouSid and Nastasiya are eager to make your acquaintance.

Spasmodica at Renegade Craft 2004
This is a little late but we wanted to thank everyone who stopped by our table at the Renegade Craft Fair. The weather was perfect for a day of playing store. We'd also like to thank our FizzieFuzzie friends for sharing a booth with us. We couldn't have asked for nicer neighbors.
